Make-up

Her face was white, her lips were red with black lining under them. The make-up was not really well done. She was dancing near a phone store. She had a strange costume for her performance. The old lady seemed to be in her own world. I stand nearby for a while, before talking. When I finally asked her to be photographed, she agreed with joy (after having begged money).
She told me about her life and her art. She used to be a jazz dancer and mime (she was a student of Marcel Marceau) in New-York a long time ago.
On the picture, you can't hear her voice: sweet and gentle. Before leaving, I kissed her on the cheek for the wonderful moment.
